Two fans of Sevilla have been stabbed in the night of this Wednesday in a massive fight in Rome in the pre-match that will play on Thursday the Andalusian club and Lazio, in the first leg of the round of 32 of the Europa League, the second continental competition.
The fight originated around 9.30 pm, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', and took place in the Monti district of the Italian capital. In total, it has resulted in four injured, two of them sevillistas, who were taken to Santo Spirito Hospital.
According to the Italian newspaper in its digital edition, the fight brought together 40 fans of both teams and many of the Spanish fans could take refuge in restaurants near the area where the conflict originated.
In addition to the two supporters of Sevilla, an American and an Englishman were also injured. One of the two Spaniards was seriously hospitalized with stab wounds. The Rome Police is already investigating the incident, explains the Italian press.
