Brent rises 2.73% at the open, to $ 32.74

Madrid, Apr 8 (EFEM) .- The price of Brent crude for delivery in June has started on Wednesday in the London futures market on the rise, with a rise of 2.73%, to $ 32.74 .

Brent closed the previous day with a 3.86% cut, below $ 32, despite the fact that during the day it rose strongly, to almost $ 34 per barrel.

The market remains waiting for tomorrow, April 9, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its partners (OPEC +) to meet virtually to agree on a cut in production after the sharp drop in demand caused by the coronavirus.

The United States Department of Energy has already reduced its projection of average oil production in the country this year to about 11.76 million barrels per day, compared to the estimate of 12.99 million barrels a day a month ago and that of 13.2 million barrels per day from two months ago.
