Brent plummets 5.24%, to $ 34.17

The price of a barrel of Brent oil for delivery in July began the session this Friday with sharp declines of 5.24% in the London futures market, to stand at $ 34.17.

Brent is opting for falls today after having exceeded $ 36 a barrel yesterday, the highest since March.

In recent sessions, Brent has maintained an upward trend encouraged by the gradual reopening of economic activity in the different countries after the coronavirus, and the least concern in the market about excess supply.

In the US, the price of Texas intermediate oil (WTI) also falls sharply this Friday, and outside of official market hours, it falls by 6.87%, to $ 31.59.
