His remarkable results within the Laser class, as well as the entry of discard in the provisional classifications, boosted him to the second position of the overall overall of the event, ahead of the British Nick Thompson, two-time world champion, who is running third. First comes the Italian Giovanni Coccoluto, six points ahead.
Joaquín Blanco does lead the classification of the Spanish Laser Championship. His partner in the host club, Martina Reino, does the same in the National Laser Radial. With two partial triumphs, he climbed from 15th place to fourth in the general classification on this final qualifying day, because tomorrow the final series with the fleet divided into the gold and silver groups begins.
