The US fund manager BlackRock obtained a net attributable profit of 3,378 million dollars (2,917 million euros) in the first nine months of the year, 27.1% more than in the same period of 2017, the company reported today.
Revenue grew by 9.4% and amounted to 10,764 million dollars (9,299 million euros).
In the third quarter, BlackRock earned 1,216 million dollars (1,050 million euros), representing an increase of 28.8% over the same period of 2017.
Revenues in the third quarter reached 3,576 million dollars (3,089 million euros), 1.9% more than in the same period last year.
The president and CEO of BlackRock, Laurence D. Fink, has indicated that the results of the third quarter show the resilience of its business model and its ability to generate organic growth even with the winds against which the sector is facing.
