Before the pandemic, Benidorm was a city with fewer than 70,000 registered inhabitants, which reached 500,000 during the summer months. Many of them were foreigners who spent longer than the stipulated time in the summer calendar. A city of exaggerated proportions and habits whose urban planning forever disrupted the image of the Alicante coastline to the world. A place as hated as it is loved.
