Belgium announced Thursday that it has detected 85 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of positives for COVID-19 to 339 people and three deaths.

The 85 new cases, over 806 tests, represent a rebound after the new positives were 47 on Wednesday and 28 and 39 on previous days.

Of the new positives, 66 have been registered in the region of Flanders (north), 3 in that of Brussels and 16 in that of Wallonia (south).

For now, the Belgian government has only recommended not to hold events of more than 1,000 people indoors and to promote work remotely during this "reinforced phase two," in which the goal is to slow down the spread of the virus.
