Bayern Munich says goodbye to coach Niko Kovac | sports

Bayern Munich has confirmed this Sunday, through its website and social networks, the dismissal of the German-Croatian Niko Kovac as coach of the first team after his irregular start of the season in the Bundesliga, where the Bavarians march rooms.

The recent defeat against Eintracht, by 5-1 and in a match corresponding to day 10 of the league championship, has precipitated that the director of Bayern ends the stage of Kovac as head of the bench, although in April of 2018 had signed a contract valid for the next three years.

That win received in Frankfurt left the Bavarian team with 18 points in the fourth position, four points behind the leadership held by Borussia Mönchengladbach. In relation to the Champions League, however, Bayern is leader of Group B with 9 points out of 9 possible and has channeled its access to the round of 16.
