The Italian anthem resounded again in Austin after Enea Bastianini managed to clinch his second victory in the championship, regaining the lead in the MotoGP standings. A race in which Álex Rins, as he did in Argentina, once again got on the podium, although this time he achieved second place, placing himself five points behind Bastianini in the table.

For his part, the Australian driver Jack Miller completed the podium, the first of the season, something he had not achieved since the 2021 Valencia Grand Prix, in which it was the last round of the championship.

All eyes were on Marc Márquez, who was returning to the circuit after falling in Indonesia, which caused a new case of diplopia and prevented him from also being in Argentina. The driver from Cervera achieved a meritorious sixth position.
