The City Council of Barcelona has interposed Two complaints against the HazteOír bus, that on Monday circulated around the Catalan city with the slogan 'It is not gender violence, it is domestic violence' and 'Gender laws discriminate against men'.
Municipal sources consulted by Europa Press have specified that the first complaint against the bus, which use the figure of Adolf Hitler - that appears with the makeup face and the feminist symbol on the cap - is for violating the Urban Landscape ordinance and regulation of dynamic advertising in Catalonia.
The City Council considers that the bus violates the regulations that prohibits advertising messages "that threaten the dignity of people, especially in what refers to children, youth, women and the most marginalized social sectors ".
The same sources recall that the maximum amount of this fine, considered a very serious infraction, could amount to 60,000 euros.
The second complaint lodged by the City Council led by the mayor Ada Colau is for violating the ordinance of measures to promote and guarantee citizen coexistence, with an amount that could amount to 1,125 euros.
In addition, within the framework of the same sanctioning procedure, the City Council has adopted precautionary measures to ensure that the bus is immobilized and withdrawn in case it re-circulates through Barcelona, for incurring the infractions for which it has already been denounced.
