The Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement for the loan of striker Francisco Trincao the English team until June 30, 2022, the Catalan club reported this Sunday.
As EFE learned from sources close to the negotiation, the Wolves will take over the entire player’s file and reserve one purchase option of 30 million euros. This purchase option is not mandatory but, if it is not executed, the British entity will have to compensate Barça with 6 million euros.
Trincao, 20, arrived at Barcelona in the summer of 2020 from Sporting de Braga, which received 31 million for the transfer from the end. In his first season as a Barça player, the Portuguese attacker, with a contract in force with Barça until 2025, played a total of 43 games, in which he scored three goals and gave two assists.
