MadridUpdated:

The delinquency of the credit granted by the financial entities that operate in Spain it has been reduced in August to 6.32%, slightly below the 6.35% marked in July, which means that the indicator remains at its lowest level since March 2011.

According to the provisional data published on Tuesday by the Bank of Spain, the improvement in the delinquency rate is largely explained by the drop in unpaid loans, which fell to 75,762 million euros, against the 77,333 million in July.

Likewise, the volume of credits that banks, savings banks and cooperatives had granted their customers in August has also fallen to 1,199 billion euros, compared to 1,217 billion the previous month.
