This is WhaleFin, which takes over from the British financial company Plus 500 and will contribute around 200 million euros to the rojiblanco club over five years
Atlético de Madrid made it official this Monday that WhaleFin has become the main sponsor of the club for the next five seasons. The rojiblanco team and the Amber Group digital management platform have reached an agreement and the first team shirts will bear the brand's logo.
In this way, WhaleFin takes over from the British financial company Plus 500 after six years and improves economic conditions. According to some journalistic information, Atlético will receive a total of 200 million in the five years, at a rate of 40 per season.
Whale Fin will not only be the sponsor of the shirt, but will carry out other projects. The company will have exclusive rights to create Altiverse, a virtual island with unique experiences for fans, such as interacting with fans from around the world. On the other hand, the Atlético de Madrid Foundation and the Amber Group will carry out initiatives with the aim of a sustainable future together.
The CEO of Atlético de Madrid, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, has highlighted the importance of this link. “Today is a relevant day for the future of Atlético de Madrid, as we join forces with a global company that is a leader in the digital sector. This association aligns with our desire to evolve digitally, thereby being able to offer more and better services and experiences to our fans.”
