At least one person has died this Tuesday in the Majorcan town of Sant Llorenç after the severe floods caused by heavy rains, which have also affected the Artà, Llucmajor, Felanitx and Alcúdia parks, according to the 112 Balearic Islands.
As reported by the Fire Department of Mallorca in a statement, are working to solve the problems caused by these floods in this town of more than 8,000 inhabitants.

The General Directorate of Emergencies and Interior of the Government of the Balearic Islands has activated the Severity Index 2 (IG-2) of the Flood Plan on the island of Mallorca.
In the place has deployed a device involving 46 members of the Firefighters of Mallorca, personnel of the Special Group of Underwater Activities of the Civil Guard (GEAS) of the Civil Guard, seven groups of Civil Protection, personnel of Maritime Rescue and of the Emergency Operations Unit, as well as agents of the Local Police.
The access roads to the site have been closed to traffic in a preventive manner, affecting the Ma-12, at kilometer 12.5, in Son Serra de Marina; the Ma-4021, at kilometer 12.5, in the Manacor area; the Ma-4030 from Sant Llorenç to Son Servera, the Ma-15f (Sant Llorenç) and the Camí de Conies (Ma-3322).
