At least four people were killed and two more were injured when a small plane fell on a house in the Mexican city of Culiacán, in the northwestern state of Sinaloa, local government sources said.
The plane, from the Aerocalafia airline, caused severe structural damage to the house in a residential area north of Culiacán, Óscar Guinto Marmolejo, Municipal Public Security and Traffic Minister, told press.
"It was a plane that fell and impacted the home, so far there are four victims in this accident," said the official, confirming that two minors were also injured by the impact.
The aircraft belongs to the Aerocalafia line that covers the route between Culiacán and the cities of Durango and La Paz, Los Cabos, among others.
The municipal president of Culiacán, Jesús Estrada Ferreiro, arrived at the accident site to coordinate the rescue and relief work.
