Asturias ravaged by fire, with 95 active fires
The Principality's Emergency Service, Know, recorded early this morning --06:55 hours-- a total of 95 forest fires in the regionensuring that most of them will be reviewed throughout the morning.
During this night and throughout this morning the extinction forces, Asturias Fire Brigade, Brif, BLP, the Military Emergency Unit, Galician extinction forces and the nursery continue working on the Is fires, in Allande; La Plata, in Castrillón; Aballe in the council of Parres and in Balmori in Llanes.
They also work on the fires located in Bustefollado in the municipality of Villayón and in those of Caborno, Merás, Riospinoso and Aldín, in the council of Valdés.
It is precisely planned that the Advanced Command Post (PMA) will be moved to Almuña in Luarca, Valdés. Several highways also remain closed to traffic at this time. The AS-351 Almuñas-Merás; the AS-366 Brieves-Merás and the CO-4 Covadonga-Los Lagos.
