The Civil Guard has arrested a man in the Lanzarote airport I had just disembarked from a flight from Seville for throwing his two-year-old son to the ground while arguing with his partner.
As reported this afternoon by the Comandancia de Las Palmas, the arrested, R.L.D., Spanish citizen of 20 years, he is accused of two crimes: mistreatment in the family and breach of sentence, because he was prohibited from approaching his partner.
The events occurred this morning at 8.30 in the arrival hall of the airport of Lanzarote, while the detainee and his partner were waiting to collect luggage.
The Civil Guard intervened in this event the airport itself, after being advised by other passengers of the same flight.
In fact, the agents had to protect the detainee from the outrage that caused his conduct among several people present at the arrivals terminal, who rebuked him.
The child was transferred by the emergency services to the Hospital Doctor Molina Orosa of Arrecife, with different blows to the face resulting from the aggression, says the Command of Las Palmas
The detainee will remain in the dungeons of the Civil Guard barracks in Costa Teguise until it is delivered to the judge on duty, within a maximum period of 72 hours.
