The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has proceeded to the arrest of a woman who, after refusing to use the mask and not attending to the requirements of the intervening agents, assaulted a policeman.
The acts have occurred this Monday, August 2, at the confluence of Castillo streets with Valentín Sanz, according to sources from the Local police.

The Accumulated Incidence (AI) at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 247.02 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and AI at 14 days in 498.63 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 1,843,401 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 5,156 correspond to the last 24 hours.
By islands, Tenerife adds 291 new infections with a total of 39,072 accumulated cases and 8,489 epidemiologically active; Gran canaria it has 30,572 accumulated cases, 238 more than the previous day, and 5,109 active; Lanzarote adds 15 positives, with 6,169 accumulated and 166 active, and Fuerteventura it has 3,521 accumulated cases, with 15 more than the previous day, and 733 active.
La Palma adds five new cases, so it has 970 accumulated and 112 active; El Hierro it does not add new cases, so it continues with 421 accumulated and 9 active cases; La Gomera It also does not add new infections and remains with 365 accumulated and 47 assets.
Until today, 1,843,401 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 5,156 correspond to yesterday.
