The Argentine president, Alberto Fernández, met, virtually, from mid-afternoon on Thursday, with the governors of the 24 provinces of the country to discuss the possible declaration of mandatory isolation for the country's 44.9 million inhabitants. .
The political opposition has already agreed to a measure of this magnitude.
Since the first confirmed case of coronavirus in Argentina was reported on March 3, the country ordered the isolation of several groups, closed its borders and restricted internal displacement, among other measures.
The number of confirmed cases increased today by 31, to 128 people, three of them deceased.
As reported by the Ministry of Health, "most cases are imported and local transmission is detected in" urban "conglomerates.

To these flights another ten will be added within Argentina to allow the return to Buenos Aires of travelers who stayed in provinces that have closed their borders.
