Áreas restaurants allege risk of "insolvency" for not paying rents to Aena after distributing a dividend of 182 million

The restaurant giant Áreas, the main restaurant operator in Spanish airports and one of the major tenants of Aena that rejects its proposal to reduce rents, assures that the airport group is heading for "insolvency" after distributing its Spanish subsidiary a dividend of more than 182 million euros in December 2019, shortly before the arrival of COVID-19 and months after being acquired by the venture capital fund PAI.
