Aragonès asks the Delegate of the Government for explanations for the arrests

The Vice-president of the Government, Pere Aragonès, has demanded explanations from the Delegate of the Government in Catalonia, Teresa Cunillera, for the sixteen arrests made today by the cutting of the AVE highways in Girona, the first anniversary of the 1-O, all of them already on freedom.

Aragonès has made public an official statement, in which it "demands that no new arrests take place", which it considers "unjustified and unjustified".

It demands explanations "to the police positions and to their political commanders, in particular, to the Delegate of the Spanish Government in Catalonia, for the use of these disproportionate and unjustified practices".

The Catalan vice president wanted to express his commitment "in defense of the rights of citizens and the exercise of their freedoms" and ensures that "it will demand the pertinent responsibilities before events such as those of today".
