Approved the bases of the call of public employment for sanitary technicians – The Province


The Sectorial Board of Health has unanimously approved on Wednesday the basis of the call for selective processes of health personnel of Subgroup C1 (Sanitary Specialist Technicians), Pharmacy Assistant Technician and Pinche corresponding to the Public Employment Offer (EPO) of 2018 and accumulated.

The categories that affect Subgroup C1 are the Health Specialist Technicians in Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy, Laboratory, Pathological Anatomy, Dietetics and nutrition and Health Documentation, the Government Health Ministry has said in a statement.

In addition, it includes the categories of Pharmacy and Click Assistant Technicians.

During the meeting, in which the Minister of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, Teresa Cruz participated; the Director General of Human Resources of the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS), Antonia María Pérez; and representatives of CEMSATSE, Intersindical Canaria, UGT, CCOO, SEPCA and ASACA, the bases and scales of the transfer contest of the aforementioned professional categories were also agreed.

With this approval, the coordination process continues with the rest of the Autonomous Communities for the ongoing examinations of the OPE.

In addition, the draft modification of the decree regulating the title of the category of Specialist Technician in Systems and Information Technologies was presented at the meeting.

The EPO convened by the SCS affects a total of 7,198 places, 1,039 correspond to Area Specialists of a total of 44 specialties, 527 to doctors specializing in Family and Community Medicine, 1,604 to Nursing, 1,604 to Nursing Assistants and 664 to the group of Administrative Assistants, among others from a total of 60 professional categories.
