Antonio López, protagonist of the Neapolitan nativity scene at Thyssen

Madrid, Dec 16 (EFE) .- The artist Antonio López has become the protagonist of the Neapolitan nativity scene at the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, which can be seen at its Madrid headquarters until January 10.

A new figure representing the Castilian-Manchego painter has crept into the traditional 18th-century nativity scene that the museum installs every year, according to the Thyssen on social media.

Among the 50 figures that compose it, the one that represents Antonio López stands out, with his characteristic red sweater.

The nativity scene, located in the museum hall, is loaned each year for its exhibition by the Isidro Brunete collection and began to be composed in the 70s.
