Although Gerard Piqué was very far away, as he is spending part of Christmas in Lapland with his family, the FC Andorra held an extraordinary general meeting on Saturday to approve the arrival of the investment group Kosmos, owned by the Barça player.
The approval was produced unanimously, with 206 votes in favor for one abstention. And, although bureaucratic steps are still lacking for the purchase to be effective, since this weekend the new coaching staff is already in charge, with the former Gabri García as coach and with Albert Jorquera, Barça exporter, as second. Kosmos, on the other hand, will lead the project through a sports anonymous society protected by the new sports law of Andorra, and the visible face will be the young Andorran businessman Francesc Destreé. The majority shares will be held by Kosmos Holding, Piqué company.
