I am very much afraid that the dozens of experts who have passed through the Toledo Pact Commission to warn about the critical situation of the Social Security system have served their Lordships little. Four years after its constitution, spread over three different legislatures, the deputies have reached a preliminary agreement, which will probably become a pact this week, with recommendations to reform the system in order to guarantee its sufficiency and sustainability.
