An unprecedented vote decides on the ban on hunting wolves and turtle doves in Spain

Two birds with one stone. After months of blockade and with the threat of a sanction from the European Union on the table, the State Commission for Natural Heritage will have to decide this Thursday on the prohibition of hunting wolves and turtle doves in Spain to protect these species. Without giving the option to continue delaying a verdict, the Government submits both decisions to the vote of the autonomous communities, although the final competence lies with the Executive.
