An Air Europa plane goes off track and crashes into a beacon in Mallorca

The flight of Air Europa UX 4014 that made the route between Valencia and Palma gave a good scare to its passengers yesterday. When the plane landed in Son Sant Joan at 5:20 p.m. the strong wind caused the aircraft to go off track, continue to circulate at high speed until finally hitting a lighting beacon, according to 'Mallorcadiario.com'.

The noise of the landing and the strong impact caused screams, panic and moments of nervousness between the passengers. In addition, the crash caused a large hole in the fuselage that caused the aircraft to be surrounded by fire trucks to check that there was no further damage. Luckily, no major damage was to be regretted.

One of the passengers assured the aforementioned local media that neither the crew nor the Air Europa ground crew members gave them any explanation about the incident. In fact, from Air Europa they are sent to Swiftair for those who wish to receive information about the status of the plane.
