Amnesty International announces an act of protest by the Super Cup before the Saudi embassy

January 8, day of the start of the competition

Amnesty International has convened a symbolic act of protest before the Saudi Arabian embassy to protest the Supercup dispute in that country. The call is for day 8, start date of the tournament, at 11 in the morning.

Those summoned will pose as if they were the alignment of a football team at the embassy doors to ask for the freedom of Loujaini al-Hathloul and other activists who have been imprisoned since March 2018.

Amnesty International has collected 10,000 signatures on the website to request that the Super Cup serve to release both Al-Hathloul and the rest of the activists.

The NGO has requested to meet on several occasions with the Federation, which has not responded to their requests.
