Amazon challenges Ikea with the launch of Movian and Alkove, its two new brands of furniture that add to the range that has the giant of electronic commerce of home furnishings, as reported by the company in a statement.
In particular, the platform extends its home line with these brands that offer consumers pieces for the living room, dining room, bedroom and other rooms and seeks to sell versatile furniture that adapts to different lifestyles. In addition, the giant of the electronic commerce has foreseen to introduce in these marks articles of lighting, accessories and textiles.
In this way, Movian offers a flexible and practical collection of modern furniture inspired by Scandinavia and featuring quality design items, while Alkove is a high-end brand for customers seeking design and high quality materials.
Amazon continues to expand its range of own brands, after having its own fashion lines such as Find, Iris & Lilly or Truth & Fabl ', among others, or Amazon Basics, which includes technology and home products, in addition to the introduction of its first food products in the Spanish market, as well as its entry into the category of food, pet food or the launch in Spain of its service «Wedding List».
