Amaya Fernández to Alfonso Alonso: "It has been an honor and a privilege to be your general secretary"
Fernández, who will occupy the presidency of the Basque PP until a party Congress is held, after the regional elections, stressed that the memory left by Alonso is an "indelible mark of commitment and dignity" and that they will continue their legacy.
"We will try to continue your legacy following your example: putting everything we have and more to defend the interests of Euskadi," he said in his official twitter account.
