All the details of the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey - La Provincia
The round of last 16 of the Copa del Rey 2019-20 celebrates its draw this Friday after the first major surprises that led to the elimination of LaLiga Santander teams such as Atlético de Madrid or Betis against lower-level teams.
The draw will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the Soccer City of Las Rozas of the RFEF and will match the remaining 16 teams in eight matches that will be played next week (January 28, 29 and 30) in a single match.
The only conditioner is that the six teams of lower categories (four of LaBiga SmartBank and two of Second B) will be paired with six of the ten survivors of First division and they will play the showdown at home.
The other four remaining teams, all of them of the highest category, will be measured against each other, and the location of these matches will be chosen by lottery, so potentially there could even be a match between the two greats of Spanish football, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
