Alec John Such, bassist and one of the founders of the rock group Bon Jovi, has died at the age of 70, according to the well-known band on its Twitter account.

Such's role in the group was instrumental in later attracting musicians such as guitarist Richie Sambora and drummer Tico Torres to him, the message added.
"To be honest, we found our way through him," explains the other members of the group, who recount that "Alec was always wild and full of life." “Today those special memories make us have a smile on our faces and tears in our eyes. We will miss him," they add.
The American band is named after its vocalist and leader, Bon Jovi, who, in addition to being a musician, is a composer, actor and record producer.
