Alejandro Peña Morales (Las Palmas GC, 05-13-1997), known in the world of futsal by the nickname Ale Tortu, is the first reinforcement of the Gran Canaria FS, which faces its second consecutive campaign in the Second Division B.
The player was formed in the team of his hometown, Virgen del Pilar (2003-2008). He then played in El Barrio Atlántico (2008-2013), Veteranos del Pilar (2014-2014), Barrio Atlántico (2014-2015), Malta 97 (2015-2016), Costa de Mogán (2016-2017) and Malta 97 (2017 -2020).
Last season, under Kevin Noda, he was one of the outstanding players of the revelation team of the Canary Islands Second B group, Malta 97, being the seventh top scorer with a total of 20 goals.
The Gran Canaria FS is made with the services of a skilled player with the ball at his feet, with a good one on one, ambidextrous and voracious against the rival goal.
“It’s a unique opportunity for me and I couldn’t miss it. I wanted to be part of this squad and show that I have enough quality to play here,” says Ale Tortu.
The Gran Canaria affirms that, individually, he sets himself the goal of entering into the dynamics of the team and little by little being able to enjoy more minutes. “Collectively I want to help the team win the league and be able to move up in the category,” adds the signing of Gran Canaria FS.
