Alcácer unblocks the match against Sivasspor

Two goals from Paco Alcacer, who had entered in the 70th minute, they unblocked the game for Villarreal against Sivasspor, in a clash of alternatives, in which the goal was the protagonist and in which the Turkish team put the local in much more trouble than expected.

The festival of so many and the victory covered the moments of weakness of Villarreal, able to offer the best and the worst against an opponent who did not weigh 2-0 at twenty minutes, but who could not with Alcácer’s sense of goal.

The first half was surprising, with two very different halves, since in the first twenty minutes they were the absolute domain of the local team, with depth, good play and total control over the Turkish team.

All this was reflected in the two goals of the set of Unai emery, marked by Kubo and Bacca in two good shots against an overwhelmed Sivasspor. Everything changed after 2-0. Suddenly, the visiting team took the ball and began to approach the goal of the debutant Rulli.

The result of this new scenario was the first visitor goal, in full confusion of the locals, What did not prevent that in the next play Bacca was demolished in the area of the visiting team. The Colombian forward himself launched and Samassa, who until then had not been well, successfully stopped the maximum penalty.

Sivasspor maintained its improvement, who with a new goal on the edge of the break reached the halfway point of the match with a draw that no one could suspect when Bacca had made it 2-0.

In the resumption the forces were even, with hardly any depth by either team. There was no football, but there were goals. The Argentine Foyth, in his debut match in Spain, headed 3-2, but shortly after, in a magnificent free-kick, Gradel established a new equalizer. 3-3.

The party had no owner in a clash in which it was difficult for Villarreal to gain control of the game and in which it had nothing to do with that of the first minutes of play.

With the broken match, Paco Alcácer made it 4-3 in his first option in the face of goal, without the locals’ football having improved significantly. In addition, four minutes later the Villarreal attacker saw the door again and made it 5-3.

Despite the eight goals scored, neither team gave up in the search for the rival goal and the match offered options against both goals and was resolved in favor of Villarreal, who suffered more than expected.
