Air Europa raises an Erte for all its staff for the coronavirus

The company has gone on stage that contemplates an Erte before the disease progresses

The Independent Airline Passenger Cabin Crew Union (Sitcpla) and the Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (Sepla) have ensured that Air Europa has raised all its workers to carry out a Temporary Employment Regulation File (ERTE) due to the impact of Covid-19 coronavirus.

As noted by the union in a statement, the company had contemplated four action scenarios before the consequences of the viral outbreak in the company. Throughout the afternoon of this Tuesday, the company has informed the workers’ representatives that it has been passed to level three, which implies an ERTE to all workers.

Also, the union formation has added that the meeting that was scheduled for next Wednesday has been moved until Thursday, so they cannot expand information at the moment.
