Aena airports beat their passenger record in 2019, with Madrid at the helm

The four airports with the highest freight traffic were Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, with 558,566 tons (+ 7.4%); Zaragoza, with 182,659 tons (+9.5); Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, with 177,271 tons (2.5%), and Vitoria, 64,463 tons (+ 3.7%).

In December, 18,247,407 passengers passed through the airports of the Aena network, which represents a 3.7% increase compared to December 2018.
