Aarn Cazorla wins the Grand Final The Market Puerto Rico - La Provincia

Aaron Cazorla, with 70 points, was proclaimed absolute champion of the Canary Islands Circuit S & G-Maspalomas Golf Cup 2019, summer contest that ends yesterday in the southern facility with the dispute of the Grand Final Market Puerto Rico. Hugo Cabrera, second with 72 points and Patrick Greene, third with 74, completed the podium of the 21st edition of this summer event. The fourth and fifth positions, respectively, fell to Bárbara Rodríguez and Néstor García -74 and 76 points-.

The tournament was played under the modality medal play and unique handicap category, with the participation of the 52 finalist players of the qualifying events.

In the category of special awards, the longest men's drive was awarded by Luis Román, while that of ladies went to Monika Neumann. In the one with the ball closest to the flag of hole 3 for women, Barbara Rodriguez won. Meanwhile, the ball closest to the flag in the 16th hole for gentlemen beat Angel Martel. The closest indistinct ball in hole 8 was won by Hugo Cabrera.

Parallel to the Grand Final Market Puerto Rico a tournament was held for sponsors and collaborators of the Canary Islands Circuit S & G-Maspalomas Golf, in which Federico Camacho won.

Awards

The awards ceremony of the Grand Final of the Canary Islands Circuit S & G-Maspalomas Golf Cup 2019 took place next at the facilities of The Market Puerto Rico, where a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere was lived. Likewise, the different winners of the summer ranking of the southern field were also distinguished. In addition, gifts were raffled among everyone present at the party.

The act was chaired by the councilor of sports from San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Samuel Henríquez, who was accompanied, among others, by José Ignacio García, financial director of Gloria T&H, and Almudena Oliva, manager of The Market Puerto Rico, María Ley, manager of Maspalomas Golf, and Fran Pérez, Attached to the Southern Facility Management.
