It is true that years ago its quality was not so clear, but today there is so much legislation In this regard, it is so backed and guarded, that it is completely safe and can be used in any home activity, it is perfectly drinkable, and unless the authorities announce at a certain time some specific issue advising otherwise, it can be drunk without any kind of problems ”.

However, it warns that despite the fact that the water is drinkable, each citizen is responsible for ensuring the good quality of the water they are going to consume, and for this they must take into account possible deficiencies in the installation of the pipes in their home – “For example, if they still have those of lead banned since 1975, because there are still buildings with this type of facilities” -; to the poor maintenance of cisterns or community deposits that causes leaks, growth of algae or proliferation of microorganisms. “We must bear in mind that we are also responsible for maintaining that water quality, for keeping the cisterns or drums clean, or making sure that the pipes at home are fine”, and points out that “if we drink tap water, we must use the filter jugs or filters appropriately changing them when necessary, wash the jug from the water … you have to keep it in good condition and take extreme hygiene as with any other food ”.

The researcher insists that “despite the boom in bottled waters with weak mineralization”, minerals are necessary for the proper functioning of the human body. “If your intake is reduced by consuming a weakly mineralized water, it will be necessary to obtain them through other foods”, and adds that the presence of some of these minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, is due to the circulation of water through Soils rich in these elements, and their concentration determines the level of hardness of the water. “Hard water can cause some domestic problems such as lime deposits in the pipes or a greater need for heat to heat the water.
