The waters of the Canary Islands are magical. A group of divers met, during a dive, with a pleasant surprise last Friday, February 1, on the shores of La Palma: they located a humpback whale and shared a peaceful bath with the cetacean close to only 100 meters from the coast in the area of La Bajita.
The Isla Bonita, a paradise for marine fauna
Because of his geographic situation, Canary Islands enjoy sightings of this type of animals, which take advantage of the currents and the island waters for their migrations. Especially in the Beautiful island, that last November members of the diving house 'Duikhuis' spotted a huge whale shark; more specifically in the area of Las Cabras.
