A homophobic ordeal in a town in Castellón

Writings to the City Council

Jaume has submitted several writings to the municipality's City Council to inform the municipal authority of the situation. However, he says he has not received any reply. "I have given up because I have seen that in La Pobla they are not going to do anything," he laments.

Thus, after one of the last clashes with the aforementioned couple, he decided to move to the Court of Instruction 3 of Vinaròs to file a complaint for a hate crime. "They try to stop us there. They make noise on purpose first thing in the morning on Sunday and if I ask them, please, to stop they tell me that if I want peace of mind, I can climb a tree and stay there", he explains, saddened.

Jaume assures that He has come to receive insults as a "fucking fag" for the simple fact of going out to his balcony and he claims that he does not carry "any sign" that says whether he is homosexual or not, nor does he expose his private life. "They have even cut my sleeves and on one occasion that neighbor raised his cane to hit me and my mother had to interfere so that I did not grow up ", complaint.

It is striking that in a town with fewer than 200 inhabitants, with serious depopulation problems, there are problems of coexistence with those who buy a home in the municipality and want to spend time in their hometown.
