A Civil Guard agent has rescued a 12-year-old boy from the cornice on a fifth floor of Sant Bartomeu street in El Campello (Alicante) on Monday. he had been left alone at home after telling his mother, who went to work, that he was going to school.
According to sources from the Benemérita told Europa Press, the notice was received after 3:30 p.m. and alerted to the presence of the child on the ledge between two balconies.
The Civil Guard has detailed that the minor had placed a "barricade" on the access door to the house and was on the ledge, from where an agent has rescued him. Officials of the provincial consortium of firefighters of Alicante have come to the notice, but the child was already safe.
