La Orotava has been placed tenth in the list of Spanish cities with better health conditions, according to the report 'The functional urban areas in Spain: economy and quality of life' presented this Wednesday by the BBVA Foundation.
In this particular section are taken into account mortality rates, the incidence of suicides or life expectancy, among other elements, which place the core of Tenerife just behind Pamplona, Elche, Logroño, Albacete, Vitoria, Murcia, Madrid , Guadalajara and Toledo.
BBVA has explained that in this group of cities "it is more difficult to find a defined geographical pattern that characterizes the cities that obtain the best scores".
"The most outstanding are a very heterogeneous group, among which Toledo, along with Guadalajara, Madrid, Murcia, Vitoria and Albacete appear in the first places." Of the 16 largest cities, in this group, apart from Madrid and Murcia, the city of Barcelona ", they explained.
