The coronavirus crisis has caused many franchised companies to have problems financing themselves, to the point that 75% of them have had to request a loan with the endorsement of the ICO, according to a report by the Spanish Association of Franchisors (AEF).
The report explains that all the franchisees have had to request a credit in 9.1% of the franchise networks associated with the AEF.
This percentage has exceeded 75% in 27.3% of the ensigns; Between 25% and 75% have requested it in another 54.6%, and between 10% and 25% have requested it in 9% of franchises.
In addition, of the percentage of franchisees that have had to request this financing, 36.4% of franchises report that less than 10% of their members have obtained it.
They have also achieved between 10% and 25% of 18.2% of franchises; between 25% and 50% of the 9.1% of the brands, and between 50% and 75% of the 27.3% of those chains.
