52 immigrants arrive in two boats to Gran Canaria during the early hours of this Thursday

A total of 52 immigrants have arrived aboard two boats to Gran Canaria during the early hours of this Thursday, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the 112 of the Canary Islands.

The first of the irregular vessels arrived on the coast of San Bartolomé de Tirajana with 27 people of Maghreb origin.

As for the second boat, in which 25 people of Maghreb origin were traveling, it was rescued on the high seas by a Maritime Rescue boat, which took the migrants to the Arguineguín Pier, in Mogán (Gran Canaria). All immigrants are in good condition.
