For its part, the National Geographic Institute has detected the same earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7. This same source has reported that from 18:03 on Wednesday until 10.00 today, Thursday, eight earthquakes have been detected at sea, west of El Hierro, with magnitudes between 2.1 and 3.1, and that They are considered to be within normal patterns.
No evidence of the population has felt these seismic movements, which have occurred at a distance of 5 to 20 kilometers from the coast, at depths of between 19 and 32 kilometers.
