The administrator of Railway Infrastructures (Adif) has tendered for 49,141,139.91 euros infrastructure maintenance services, track and track devices on the Madrid-León high-speed lines, in service, and Venta de Baños-Burgos, in its last phase of execution.
The term of execution of the contract covers 48 months, between 2019 and 2022, as reported by the public body through a statement.
In total, the contract establishes the maintenance of 436.8 kilometers of high-speed route, of which 345.5 kilometers correspond to the Madrid-León line and 91.3 kilometers to the Venta de Baños-Burgos section, within the future high speed connection between the capital of Burgos and Madrid.
The objective of these actions is to guarantee at all times the optimal state of the railway installations and their availability, efficiency, safety and functionality, reducing to the maximum the probability of incidents.
The tasks included in the contract provide for the maintenance of the infrastructure and superstructure elements of the general layout, section and secondary roads, and connection branches.
Likewise, it establishes the maintenance of the access roads to the width changers; repair, maintenance and monitoring of track devices (diversions); platform conservation; repair and conservation of fences and fences, as well as buildings and fire prevention.
The contract also includes small works linked to the maintenance itself and located on the infrastructure and attention to incidents and special resources of corrective maintenance.
