364 new infections and 6 deaths, the worst record since the summer


The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands register today 364 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19, the highest record since the summer in the Islands. The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 102,212 with 2,979 active, of which 30 are admitted to the ICU and 196 remain hospitalized. By islands, Tenerife today there are 152 cases with a total of 48,562 accumulated cases and 1,242 epidemiologically active cases; Gran canaria It has 39,050 accumulated cases, 173 more than the previous day and 1,298 active. Lanzarote adds 16 new cases with 7,456 accumulated and 135 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura it has 5,011 accumulated cases, with 23 new cases, and 243 active ones. La Palma it does not add new positives so it has 1,212 accumulated and 46 assets. El Hierro It also does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 469 and one asset. La Gomera It does not register new cases, so it has 451 and its assets are 14.

To date, a total of 2,379,479 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,927 correspond to yesterday.
