In addition to another very long weekend: December 7 and 8, and this is if the traditional Thursday and Good Friday are left out of the equation.
The BOE published the work calendar for 2020 with a total of12 national holidays, the same as in 2019, of which only 8 will be held in a labor force by 2020 with a total of joint throughout Spain.
They are: Wednesday, January 1, Monday, January 6, Friday, April 10 (Good Friday), Friday, May 1, Saturday, August 15, Monday, October 12, Tuesday, December 8, and Friday December 25th.
Two other common holidays, November 1 (All Saints) and December 6 (Spanish Constitution Day), fall on Sunday. The Canary Islands chose to move to Monday in the case of December 7 last. The Autonomous Community also adds Holy Thursday, April 9, and the Canary Islands Day (May 30), in addition to island holidays and other municipal election.
