With the sights set on 70% of immunizations for July 31, the vaccination schedule continues in the Islands with group 4, that of large household dependents, of which 94.41% have already received the full schedule. On the other hand, in group 5, that of vulnerable people due to their age who do not reside in centers for the elderly, there are already 203,909 with the two doses –71.55% -; while 283,586 have received at least one, 99.51%.
The health and social health personnel who do not work on the front line, belonging to group 3, also have the complete vaccination schedule 33.69%. Of group 6, made up of 66,000 professionals, including teachers, firefighters and policemen, among other groups, 43,512 have been vaccinated with one dose – 65.93% -.
In group 7, which includes the population under 60 years of age at risk of suffering from a serious picture of the disease, there are 11,884 people vaccinated with one dose –74.28% -. For their part, 111,353 islanders between the ages of 60 and 65 in group 8 have also received a dose – 73.03% -. Likewise, 64.72% of group 9, those between 50 and 59 years old, have already received a dose, representing a total of 170,146 people.
