The BOC has published today amodification of the call for self-employed workers in which it establishes that this year's credit for subsidizing employment promotionautonomous will be 12,306,202.00 euros. TheThe deadline for submitting applications will remain open until September 30, 2019, fCheck in which the next annuity will start.
The Ministry of Employment ofGovernment of the Canary Islandshas indicated in a note that with this budget,which represents an increase of more than 3 million of the initial creditand that responds to the volume of requests that in these first months of the year have already been presented,The Canary Islands Employment Service (SCE) plans to support close to 2,000 unemployed people who have opted to become autonomous.
The aid ranges between 5,000 and 10,000 euros,depending on the difficulty for the access to the labor market that the applicant accredit, in such a way that it will prioritize women -10% more to those who are victims ofgender violence-, under 30s and people with disabilities. It will also encourage, with a thousand euros more, those who are enrolled in the Youth Guarantee System and long-term unemployed.
This year's call has also allowedpeople who, at the end of 2018, were excluded from the call due to lack of credit, request assistance in this new edition.
For this new call, asprerequisite, interested parties must apply for the self-employment promotion service offered by the Integral Employment Services of the Business Confederations, Chambers of Commerce and University Foundations, where they will receive specific advice.
The Government establishesfour types of aid: aid for the establishment, financial aid aimed at reducing interest, aid for training and aid for contracting external services and technical assistance.
The bases of this call, which were renewed last year with the aim of streamlining procedures and promote entrepreneurship, were agreed with the autonomous entities themselves.
